Several hours ago, around 18:00 EST, Facebook banned the accounts of two more Infidel Forces (IF) members. They had been involved in taking back the groups originally secured by the allied effort. Alan Iman, who was one of the two individuals, moved in less than two days ago to slowly and stealthily retake the allied groups. The other individual, who has asked for his name to be withheld, joined the effort shortly afterwards. The two had successfully secured 21 groups – a little more than a tenth of the groups originally under allied control.

Now, the allies are back to zero, all while hostile forces continue to secure IF's groups unmolested. Allied forces now estimate that approximately a third of their groups are in enemy hands.

This is the latest in what is now a nearly two week long conflict. Facebook's war in support of terrorism began on July 2, when it banned two high-ranking members of American Infidel (AI). It then launched a wave of attacks against Infidel Forces (IF) and the Anti-Terrorism Coalition (ATC) on July 5 and July 6. Afterwards, it engaged in the surveillance of the ATC Website.

In all, Facebook has banned the entire leadership and key members of Infidel Forces (IF), high-ranking members of American Infidel (AI) and an ATC member.

Prior to the attacks, IF, which had operated in accordance with Facebook's terms, had taken over more than 150 Islamic terrorist, pro-terrorist, radical leftist, anti-Semitic, racist, hateful and other hostile groups and prevented the hostile takeover of 15 – 20 friendly groups. The allies were also involved in infiltrating hostile groups through the use of undercover accounts which allied operatives used to pose as terrorist sympathizers. These accounts were also banned.

This is yet another low for the popular networking site that claims to support freedom of speech to the point where it refuses to take action against groups preaching Holocaust Denial (hat tip Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs). Of course, while its terms prohibit users from posting content that is "discriminatory" or "harassing in nature", Facebook seems to disregard these terms in favor of its promise to support free speech for Holocaust Denial and other hostile groups. Yet, apparently, opposing Holocaust Deniers and advocates for a second Holocaust (emphasis on Islamic terrorists and Neo-Nazis) is considered "offensive", "discriminatory", "harassing in nature", in violation of Facebook's terms and above all: not something that should be protected as freedom of speech and freedom of expression.

Facebook's War for Terrorism continues...

UPDATE – 17:50 EST July 14, 2009: Facebook has just banned a second ATC member after he, only yesterday, joined and made himself administrator of approximately 15 groups previously controlled by IF. In addition, yet another IF account has also been disabled.

This comes as a hostile user was successfully able to take over approximately 20 groups several days ago. He remains online and in control of the groups.
